The agreement, in language you can actually read

imado connects a domain you already own to a mailbox, so you can send and receive email from an address on that domain through a web inbox.

It is a mailbox for people. It is not a transactional email API, a marketing platform, a domain registrar, or a general-purpose mail relay.

imado is in alpha. Mail can be delayed, and in a bad case lost. There is no uptime commitment. Features may change or be withdrawn.

Do not rely on imado as the only copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

What alpha means sets this out in full, and it forms part of these terms.

• You need a real email address you control, and you must keep the details accurate.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself.
• You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and at least 16.
• Tell us promptly if you think somebody else has got into your account.

You may only connect a domain you own or are authorised to administer. Connecting someone else's domain is a serious breach of these terms, and we will remove it.

Making imado work means publishing DNS records we give you. Those records are yours to manage — if they are removed or changed, mail stops, and we cannot fix that from our side.

The fair use policy forms part of these terms. In short: ordinary human mail, within the published limits, to people who expect to hear from you. No campaigns, no cold outreach, no application mail, nothing deceptive or illegal.

We claim no ownership of anything you send, receive, or store. You give us only the permission the product cannot run without — to store, transmit, back up, and display your mail to you, and to process it so the inbox works.

That permission exists to operate imado for you and ends when you delete the content or your account.

We may pause sending, or suspend an account, when the fair use policy is being broken, when an account is being used to harm someone, or when we are required to. Except in urgent cases we will tell you first, and you can always reply and ask us to reconsider.

You can close your account at any time by writing to us. If we close your account without your asking, and it is not for abuse, we will give you at least 30 days to get your mail out.

imado is free during the alpha. It will not always be free. The plans we intend to charge (Free for 3 domains you already own and 1 GB of stored mail, Builder at $39 a year, and optional extra domains and storage) are on the pricing page. Paid plans will be announced by email before they apply to you, never applied silently to an existing account, and nothing can be charged until you enter a payment method.

imado is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of error, or that mail will always be delivered.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Zivaro Software Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business, or lost or misdelivered mail.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to imado is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as they are permitted.

You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a third party brings a claim against us because of your use of imado in breach of these terms — including mail sent from your account and domains connected to it.

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email account holders before it takes effect. Continuing to use imado after that means accepting the new version.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the courts located there have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
