The inbox, up close.
Mail to every address you create arrives in one inbox, in any browser, on a computer or a phone. This is what reading it, finding it and answering it is like.
Four lists, and nothing piles up.
Inbox, Sent, Done and Spam. Done is where a conversation goes once you have dealt with it, like archiving, so the inbox holds only what still needs you. Mail flagged as spam when it arrives goes straight to Spam.
Every move offers Undo for a few seconds.

Find it again.
- / Search a mailbox by subject or by who sent it, with results as you type.
- L Tag a conversation, then narrow any list to one tag. A mailbox's tags are shared with everyone who reads it.
- U Show only what is unread, or everything.
- M Move between your mailboxes, each with the number of unread messages beside it.
Mail as it was sent, in light or dark.
A message is shown with the sender's own design, inside a frame where nothing runs: scripts, forms and embedded pages are removed before you see it.
In the dark theme, a message uses the sender's own dark design when they made one, and our dark colours otherwise, with pictures left as they are. The sun on a message shows its original colours, for that message or always for that sender.
Files sit together at the foot of a message, one row each. A photo under 10 MB shows a preview; any other file shows its type, name and size.
Write back from wherever you are.
- A draft is saved as you type and kept with its mailbox, so a reply started on your laptop is waiting on your phone.
- Attach up to 20 files with the paperclip, by dropping them on the message, or by pasting them.
- If a send fails, the message stays on its card for you to fix and send again. If we cannot tell whether it went, we say so, and it is never sent twice.
Every common action has a key.
Press ? in the inbox to see them all. They show beside buttons only when there is a keyboard to press them on.

On your phone, it opens like an app.
Add imado to your Home Screen and it opens straight to your inbox, full screen. Swipe a conversation to move it to Done, and turn on notifications to see who wrote and what about the moment mail arrives.
On an iPhone or iPad, notifications need imado on the Home Screen first. It is imado's website, installed from the browser; there is no app to download from a store.
Install it, step by step
