Everything you do often in imado has a key: moving through your mail, replying, moving a conversation to Done, adding an address. This page lists every key and where it works. In the app, press ? to see the keys for the page you are on.
How the keys work
- One letter acts on what is in front of you. E moves the open conversation to Done, and C starts a new message.
- G, then a letter, takes you somewhere. GI opens your inbox. Press the second key within a second and a half.
- ? lists the keys for the page you are on.
- Nothing fires while you type. In a field, a letter is a letter.
- Your browser's shortcuts stay yours. No key uses Ctrl, ⌘ or Alt, with one exception: ⌘↵ sends, or Ctrl↵ on Windows and Linux.
- On a phone, there is nothing to learn. The hints beside buttons show only on a computer with a mouse or trackpad. With a keyboard attached to a tablet, the keys still work.
